There are helpful web links here plus anything else I could think of that you might find helpful. You can always

Whenever possible I post links to stories we are reading so you can read and print them at home. Since writing
in your textbook is forbidden, printing a copy allows you to annotate as much as you would like. This is generally a
very helpful strategy to understanding the writing better.
We are going to work on AP writing writing and reading skills/analysis this year. FCAT is done and gone
and the only writing we will be working on is AP writing. Seniors, the focus is on analysis this year. Juniors,
there is analysis, synthesis (like a DBQ), and persuasive writing. It's the analytical one that gives the most trouble.
